I will be appearing at an event with Positive Coaching Alliance. I and my co-panelists (those listed on the flyer, plus John Moore, Basketball Coach and Associate Athletic Director, Westmont College) will be discussing youth and high school sports within the broader context of our nation’s sports culture.

For example, topics will include how do messages and behavior that kids see in pro and college sports trickle down to youth sports? And what can coaches and parents do to ensure that youth players are getting the most out of their athletic experience on and off the field?

I hope you can join me for this event. There will be a chance to meet and mingle with the panelist, and Positive Coaching Alliance will be videotaping the event and asking those in attendance for their views on some of these topics.
